‘effortless”… “released tight lower back in moments’… ‘lovely way to relax your back…”
'Active' vs 'Passive' Support
Conventional foam supports hold the torso in a static position .They are inert and ‘passive’ .This means the very muscles they are supporting become lazy and weaken over time, making the problem worse.
The BodyBolster offers 'active' support – meaning it offers movement. This is because it is an air -filled device which encourages mobility, allowing healthy, micro joint movement through the spine.
When it is in place you will rock slightly - this springy and supportive feeling is the beginning of a new way of sitting - breaking old rigid muscle habits.
Active sitting also switches on core muscles (for improved strength) and promotes erect positive posture.

Gary Webb: Active Sitting Gary Webb explains the effectiveness of the BodyBolster in keeping the back muscles active. |
Adjustability is key
You may already have a built-in lumbar support in your chair. But it is rarely sufficient to provide support at the angle, size and height that suits your body shape and individual needs; some people have a flat back, others have a sway back and some need support in their upper back. The BodyBolster allows you to get support where you need it.
The BodyBolster self- inflates and deflates with the use of the valve. Click below to view a video of how it works.
